The Readiness Project uses accessible and actionable research and communications to suggest common language for the dynamic abilities people use every day; the high frequency skills, habits and attitudes (competencies) that make-up those abilities; the practices that support the development of those skill sets and mindsets and, the gaps and traps that stand in the way of putting those abilities and practices into effect. Funded by the Ford Foundation

This competency framework addresses relationships between competency potential, competency requirements and competencies themselves. The tool provides a way to measure personality behaviors at work and their success in different fields.

The State Longitudinal Data Systems (SLDS) data is working with more than a dozen states to develop tools to: (1) Balance enrollments relative to labor market demand. (2) Align curriculum with workforce requirements. (3) Connect counseling to career pathways. (4) Assist in job placement and skill gap analysis.
