Credential Transparency Initative (CTI)

Credential Transparency Initiative aims to create greater coherence, and transparency in the U.S. credentialing marketplace by: developing a common terminology for describing key features of credentials; creating a voluntary, web-based “registry” for sharing the resulting information; and testing practical “app” options to help produce searches that would benefit employers, students, educators and others. Managed by Credential Engine and funded by Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase and the Lumina Foundation.
