From 14 to 15 December, 2015, 20 experts met in Paris, France, for a meeting to discuss the development of World Reference levels of learning outcomes. The meeting, attended by Katerina Ananiadou, Programme Specialist at UNESCO-UNEVOC, as well as representatives from international organisations such as the International Labour Organisation (ILO), Cedefop, and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), focused on two issues, namely the formulation of learning outcomes to support cross-country recognition of qualifications, and the contribution of learning outcomes-based qualifications systems to region quality assurance processes. The work is currently underway. Managed and funded by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Reference Levels.
