Webinar: Employer Engagement, JetBlue Scholars

Topic: Employer Leadership / Funder: Other / Type: Multimedia

Are you aware of the JetBlue Scholars program? You should be! Don’t miss out on this discussion with Cody Cleverly and Marc Singer that will illuminate one of the most exciting innovations underway related to Action Plan priorities 1 and 2, employer engagement and empowering learners. Based on requests from crewmembers (employees), JetBlue reinvented educational assistance with JetBlue Scholars, which enables any JetBlue crewmember to earn a college degree. By removing the barriers inherent in many tuition reimbursement programs, crew members can earn a degree on their own schedule and JetBlue picks up the tab. Through partnerships with Thomas Edison State University (TESU) and ACE-recommended online course providers, crew members earn credit for knowledge they already have and take self-paced courses online, reducing the time and cost of degree completion. Over 85% of enrollees report that they feel more engaged in their job as a result of the program, and over 95% are more committed to staying at JetBlue.
